Teen Sobriety & Accountability
A structured peer group for teens navigating substance use, probation conditions, or school-required treatment. Youth build refusal skills, identify triggers, and practice honest accountability with peers who share similar experiences.
What we cover
- Week 1: Orientation & Baseline Mapping — Establishing group norms, identifying personal goals, and exploring how substance use or legal requirements impact daily life.
- Week 2: Understanding Triggers, Cravings, & High-Risk Situations — Pinpointing internal states and external environments that spark cravings, and recognizing high-risk scenarios early.
- Week 3: Refusal Skills & Peer Pressure — Building practical communication tools to say “no” and successfully navigate high-pressure peer dynamics.
- Week 4: Honesty, Accountability, & Repairing Trust — Practicing honest self-accountability and exploring actionable steps to repair trust and communication at home.
- Week 5: Relapse Prevention & Safe Supports — Drafting a comprehensive, personalized relapse prevention plan and identifying safe, pro-social support systems.
- Week 6: Graduation & Sustained Independence — Reviewing individual progress, solidifying long-term coping mechanisms, and closing out the module.
